It’s the end of the third-quarter battle between the Golden State Valkyries and Dallas Wings. Because the Valkyries lead by over ten, one player who hasn’t seen much action this season, Laeticia Amihere, played most of the quarter and ended it off with two statement blocks at the buzzer. She hasn’t played more than 10 games this season, but she did get some playing time earlier in the season.

I remember Amihere being cut last year at the end of preseason. Later in the season, I was able to watch her play against the Fever after she was picked up. One thing that stood out to me, and I was just reminded of, is her impressive vertical. However, if you watched Amihere in college, this is no surprise, as she grew her vertical by six inches there between her freshman and sophomore seasons (imagine what it is now…).

If Amihere can improve on the offensive end, I can see her sharing more minutes with Kiah Stokes.
